Robert is a seasoned attorney with more than 28 years of legal experience helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate difficult legal challenges. He is known as a strong, aggressive advocate who fights tirelessly for his clients while providing the personal attention, compassion, and guidance they need during some of the most stressful periods of their lives. 

For nearly three decades, Robert has represented clients in a wide range of legal matters, in State and Federal court, combining extensive courtroom experience with a strategic, results-driven approach. He understands that legal disputes often involve more than just legal issues—they can affect families, finances, businesses, and futures. That is why he takes the time to listen carefully to each client's concerns, explain their options clearly, and develop a plan designed to achieve the best possible outcome. 

Robert's clients value his willingness to stand up to insurance companies, opposing parties, and powerful interests when their rights are at stake. He is a determined negotiator and a skilled litigator who is always prepared to pursue a case aggressively when necessary. Admitted to practice before the courts of the State of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, Robert is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Association for Justice, and the Geauga County Bar Association.

In his free time, he enjoys golf, reading, and spending time with his 3 children and dog, Rafa.

Jonathan (Jon) Strano is Litigation Manager / Paralegal at the Law Offices of Robert E. Adelman, LLC. He is sitting for the bar exam in July of 2026 and intends on practicing business law upon receiving his license to practice. In his free time, Jon enjoys playing tennis, reading, and movies.

Laura brings over four decades of experience in administration to her role at The Law Office of Robert E. Adelman. Previous to joining the law firm, Laura was self employed as a bookkeeper/administrator for various types of businesses, giving her a wide range of experiences in administrative duties. Laura has lived in the Chagrin Valley and surrounding community for over 50 years. She has three grown children and two grandchildren.  Golf, tennis, biking or any other outside activity keeps her busy when she is not in the office.
